Abigail M. Saving
Abby graduated in 2005 from The Ohio State University with a BSBA Degree, magna cum laude, and in 2008 from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, with a Juris Doctorate Degree, summa cum laude, Order of the Coif.
Upon graduating law school, Abby practiced with a large law firm in Columbus, Ohio with a primary focus on real estate and corporate matters, including the representation of investors and developers in the acquisition, financing, sale and disposition of real estate developments, commercial landlord and tenant issues, and commercial lending.
Abby moved to Logan in 2010 and has practiced with the Saving & Shepler Law Firm (formerly known as Lilley & Saving Co., LPA) since that time. She now focuses her practice on real estate, general business law, probate, estate planning, and civil litigation. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Hocking County Bar Association, the Fairfield County Bar Association and sits on several local boards and committees for the advancement and improvement of Hocking County and the City of Logan.
Abby married her husband, Jonah, in 2010, and is the proud parent of two children.
Ryan J. Shepler
Ryan grew up in North Canton, Ohio, where he was an avid bowler on North Canton Hoover High School’s bowling team. He attended The Ohio State University from 2004 through 2008, and acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, summa cum laude; and a Bachelor of Arts in History, summa cum laude, with research distinction, upon graduation.
Ryan then attended the University of Akron, School of Law, where he served as a Production Editor on the University of Akron’s Law Review. He graduated summa cum laude with a Juris Doctor in May 2011.
While studying for the bar exam, Ryan moved to Logan, Ohio, where he has lived and practiced for more than nine years. Prior to joining Abigail Saving and forming Saving & Shepler, Ryan was a partner at Kernen & Shepler, LLC, in Logan, Ohio, from 2011 through 2020.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys baking, playing collectible card games, and spending time with his wife, Kathy, and their two daughters.
Ryan focuses his practice on family law, criminal defense, civil litigation, and appellate litigation.
